Parents Supporting Parents Advocates for the “Sound Education of Our Children” In Guilford County CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE
Our MissionParents Supporting Parents (PSP) is a community based on the ground organization whose mission is to partner with Parents and the Guilford County School System (GCSS) to assure the academic success of the children in Guilford County. PSP is a strong advocate of a ‘Sound Basic Education for all children in the GCSS’. PSP accomplishes it mission by partnering with schools through continuos dialogue with the Superintendent, Regional Superintendents, Principals and Teachers. PSP acts as a liaison between parents and school personnel. Core ValuesPSP supports academic success and believes in a total wrap around of our children/students by parents/adults, the schools, and the community. PSP believes in providing a quality educational environment in school, the enrichment of after school activities, weekend activities, and social events for children; and, most important, PSP believes in nurturing children while acknowledging the learning differences that are inherit in all children /students. In order to help students achieve excellence, PSP provides services and assistance/support to Parents and Students.
